Thanks to our partnership with NewRiver REIT, we are currently providing a free to attend community Yoga class every week in The Martlets Shopping Centre:

83 CHURCH WALK – WEDNESDAY 9.30am (50 mins) – YOGA WITH SHYARA (all levels): Energise your whole day and feel fantastic! There will be a short warm up followed by a series of guided postures that flow from one to another – stretch & strengthen your whole body, leaving you feeling relaxed & refreshed after a short relaxation to finish. Perfect!

Email [email protected] with your NAME, the DATE & LOCATION of the class you want to book. Note that we can only guarantee replying to booking requests made at least the day before your class – we can’t promise to respond to booking requests on the day.

ONSITE CLASS INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please book in advance via email [email protected].
  • If you arrive without a booking there may not be space for you to join.
  • Arrive on time, changed & ready to practice – when you arrive say hello to your friendly teacher & fellow YinYaners!
  • Bring your own mat or borrow one of ours.
  • Wear anything you can move & breathe comfortably in.
  • Please note that we do not have lockers or changing rooms in this location.
  • Respect others & always follow the teachers instructions.

Just do what you can as gently as you like – if anything doesn’t feel right just miss it out! Group classes are not suitable for everybody – some conditions require specialist modifications, understanding & training – for example these classes are NOT suitable if you are pregnant. You MUST discuss any medical condition, illness and/or injury with us & your teacher prior to class.

ONLINE CLASSES

We are a non-profit Community Interest Company and our mission is to help as many people as possible to feel as good as possible – we want everyone to be able to access our classes, but we don’t have that many classes & locations yet!

So we have a range of on demand classes which are free for anyone to access online in case you can’t join us in person – contact us using the form above/below or email [email protected], and we’ll email you a secret link with access to classes with our wonderful network of teachers – including Relaxing (Yin) Yoga , Back to Basics (Hatha) Yoga, Flow (Vinyasa) Yoga, Pilates, Core Power Workouts, plus some Guided Meditations & Chair Yoga.

I would definitely recommend it. You go at you own pace and there are always options for everyone, no matter what level you are. You only have to try it once!
